I loved making this. Absolutely loved it.
All of the letters (and articles in the background) were taken from newspaper articles about famous events. There were lots of them for the San Francisco 1906 Earthquake and the 1912 Triangle Fire, among other things, such as the Titanic's sinking, the US going to war in WWII, and D-Day.
