So, me and a friend on FFN (Revan 3) were discussing a Ninjago theory. This is an excerpt from our conversation. Revan's is in italics, mine is bolded.

----------------

I was also wondering /how/ Jay managed to rig the Destiny's Bounty to fly. You remember that he did it /during/ ONE day, while cleaning. And it had a lot of moving parts.

Maybe, just maybe, he realized what the ones before did, and found the master control switch, then just (almost successfully) replaced some damaged wires?

Yeah. Keep in mind, though, that he had Nya to help him. Even if you've got a person to 'pass me the screwdriver' it saves that much time.
Also remember that they've built more fantastical things in less than a day. Like the fire and earth mechs on the Dark Island, where there were few parts. I don't think the flight matters - if the ship could fly, it would have been sold to the Mailman eventually, you know it would have. Save him from climbing all those stupid steps to the Monastery.

I think it's unlikely... :P

Nya (and Sensei Wu) were specifically "out shopping". Furthermore, the rest of them are shown to be cleaning.

As I recall, that was later in the series. Insignifixant at first, but the have Julien then. And he is /special/.

What if it WAS the mailman? He seems old, and as for why he disn't fix it: He doesn't have the time, what with the constant deliveries to the Serpentine, and the rest of Ninjago.
I really hope not.

Oh. I don't remember that part. Of course, that's why I have iTunes open for easy whenever-necessary fact checking. But you probably are right; the Ninja can't be left alone for five minutes without instant chaos, so why do Nya and Sensei keep doing it? XP

Yeah, I suppose...

...THAT WOULD BE AMAZING.

...Aaaaand now I've got a headcanon that the villain for the next season is going to be the Mailman.
Sad thing is that it makes sense. XD

What if the mailman is The Almighty Janitor, Implacable Man, and Wu/Garmadon's brother, separated at birth? It would explain a bit.

Too much sense to be a coincidence. The sad thing is, We made fun of it a week ago...

More than a bit. It would explain so much...

Yeah. It's amazing how much can change over seven days. Wow.

Do they have an email, because I think cartoon network would enjoy reading this. Either they'll be infuriated, or they'll use our ideas, and we won't see a penny... Forget it.

Well, if they use our stuff, wouldn't it just be wicked cool when we figure out that, 'Hey, they're using our plot! WOOO!' and then we get to party and show everyone the proof?
Because, quite frankly, I think Mailman turning out to be evil would throw /everyone/ off.

They probably do have an e-mail somewhere...

With a bit of snooping, I found LEGO's mailing address, and their phone number, and their e-mail form.
Found CN's e-mail form, too.

*mail stuff & links*

Use those as you will XD

I was hoping You might, if anyone. It would be quite shocking. And if they /don't/, We have fanfic fuel!

Well, then. I'll start writing my letter...

------------------------------

I have written said letter, and it is almost done and ready to be sent.
It's copied below, put in italics to separate it from this. It doesn't have any of its original formatting, but that wouldn't be able to be kept anyway for what I want to do.

------------------------------

To Whom It May Concern:

First I should probably introduce myself. My most popular internet username is Woodswolf. While I do not desire to reveal all of my personal information, since I will be posting this also on several public domain websites, I can say that I am a fifteen-year-old female in the periphery demographic of the TV show LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, which recently concluded its second season on Cartoon Network.

The show has been LEGO's most successful title in quite a while, as far as most can tell. Of course, only the company itself would know all the exact facts and figures about it; but it has no doubt been quite profitable.

I am aware that a new season is proposed to be aired in 2014, and this is actually what sparked the discussions I would desire to bring up with you.

The show's fan base is quite massive. There are large 'sects' on several websites, including FanFiction.Net, DeviantART.com, and Tumblr.com. People can spread their opinions quite easily, and if there's one thing that's a common thread between each of these sites, it's that they all want more of the show.

However, who knows how much time went into production of the original two seasons? Nobody outside of production can know, really, but looking at the copyrights on the music as listed in the credits of the episodes, it's been in production since sometime in 2010 or earlier. That's at least a year before the pilot movie aired, at minimum.

So, I and a few other members of one more literate section, spread over a few websites, have decided on something: Why don't we help, as best we can, to get Ninjago going again?

You see, if you have the minds of thousands of fans working together, a storyline that could come out of it would either be far better or way worse than what one or two people could do in the same amount of time.

So, I will provide links to what our theories basically cover. Some of them just explain minor details or 'discrepancies' in the show, while one of them is an all-out theory about the next season of the show that could be adapted for the screen and used as a season-long plot.

Here are the links to these theories:

The Previous Owner Theory: comments.deviantart.com/1/3572…
The Zane Version Zero Theory: greenwood-wolf.deviantart.com/…

Even if this has not swayed any opinions, or if the third season's storyline has already been decided on and put into effect, I thank you very graciously for taking the time to read this letter of compliments and (hopefully) accept some help from the Ninjago fandom personally.

As the saying goes: What better way to get them to buy your product than to tailor it to them?

I hope you will sincerely take some time to consider these ideas. There are many people out there that love this show and its fandom with all of their hearts, myself included, and we will do whatever we can to get it back to us faster.

Thank you for your consideration.

Woodswolf

------------------------------

However, here's an idea that I came up with. I'm not sure if it's overkill, but here goes.

You see, if we got community support for this endeavor, it would show LEGO that we really care, if nothing else. And we do, don't we, Ninjago fans?

*HUZZAH!*

So, thus, if you comment on this journal and think it's a good idea, I'll put your name at the end of the list, such that the letter's signature would look something like this:

----------------

Thank you for your consideration.

Woodswolf, and these other dedicated Ninjago fans:
Your-Name-Here
Or-Your-Name-Here
Or-We-Can't-Forget-Here
Don't-Forget-This-Spot!
Etc.......

--------------------------

In no real particular order, of course.
But if you'd like to contribute to this project, just comment, and I'll add your name to the list! :D

I'm only going to be able to do this for a limited amount of time, though! The more time we wait, the less time we have!

I can up with another wonder, if Zane was there when Dr. Julien was taken away, how'd he get to the edge of the village?
